DMCA Policy

ScriptCoverage.ai is a screenplay analysis tool. Users upload screenplays, and the Service generates coverage materials in response. Most uploads are made by the writer of the script. Some uploads are made by industry professionals — producers, executives, agents, managers, contest readers — evaluating scripts they have received through proper professional channels.

We rely on every uploader's representation that they have the right to upload the material. If you are a writer who believes your screenplay was uploaded to the Service without your authorization, this policy describes how to notify us and what we will do in response.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on ScriptCoverage.ai, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (for screenplays, please include the title and approximate registration or completion date).
• A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Service, to the extent you can identify it. For screenplays uploaded by a third party, identifying the third party (if known) helps us locate the upload quickly.
• Your address, telephone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Upon receipt of a notice that complies with the requirements above, we will:

• Remove the allegedly infringing material from the Service.
• Disable any coverage outputs generated from that material.
• Notify the user who uploaded the material that a DMCA notice was received and that the upload has been removed, providing a copy of the notice (with personal contact details redacted as appropriate).
• Take appropriate action regarding the uploading user under our Terms of Service, including, where warranted, account suspension or termination.

If you believe content was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with the designated agent that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the removed or disabled material and the location at which it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, the federal court for any judicial district in which Every Story LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complaining party. Unless the original complainant files an action seeking a court order against the uploading user within ten (10) business days, we may restore the removed material.
